Mechanical Engineer, II - Sr (Nuc)

This position will be filled as an Engineer, II-Sr. depending on identified candidate's qualifications
Conducts routine engineering activities and ensures the safety of nuclear components at nuclear plant
Maintain the design basis for each site and support maintenance of the licensing basis.
Provide cost-effective modification designs when required to improve plant, system or equipment performance.
Provide technical support to operations, maintenance, engineering, and other site organizations.
Support safe, reliable operation by identifying and effectively resolving issues via the corrective action and work management processes.
Develop engineering products in accordance with defined standards and procedures.
Serve on outage engineering support teams as assigned. Attend training and maintain qualifications necessary to perform required group functions. Act as design authority for the site.
Minimum education required of the position
B.S. Degree in Engineering or other closely related scientific discipline / physical science generally associated with power plant operations, or equivalent work experience (equivalent experience is defined as demonstrated success at the Engineer / Technical Specialist level.)

Minimum experience required of the position
Engineer II - 0 - 2 years experience in nuclear power design, operations or equivalent.
Engineer III - 2 - 4 years experience in nuclear power design, operations, or equivalent experience depending upon engineering level.
Sr. Engineer - 3 - 5+ years experience in nuclear power design, operations, or equivalent experience depending upon engineering level.
Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position
Technical understanding of nuclear generation principles and operation. Knowledge of pipe stress analysis including pipe supports, piping minimum wall calculations and structural and seismic analysis. Outstanding communication, conflict management, and change management skills.
Any certificates, licenses, etc. required for the position
Desired: SRO license or certification on a PWR or BWR
Desired: Professional Engineering license.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
