Supt, Online Maint Scheduling

JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE:
Responsible for the scheduling of online and forced outage maintenance work packages and surveillance testing at an Entergy Nuclear plant.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensures safe, reliable, and cost effective plant operation as a result of the daily work schedule.
Ensures effective implementation of the work planning T process.
Works effectively as part of the work management team in setting priorities, allocating resources, and driving to plant work management excellence.
Provides schedule oversight and direction during development and implementation to maximize efficiency and plant operating license requirements.
Ensures maintenance work activities are integrated for efficient and timely completion. Ensures schedule interface involving assigned systems are properly coordinated between disciplines. Forecasts weekly and long range schedule requirements in each of the following areas: 1) maintenance work orders, (2) preventive maintenance, (3) surveillance testing.
Manages forecasting start and completion dates for maintenance activities. Interfaces with regulatory and industry representatives on behalf of station activities. Serves as a member of the Emergency Response Organization.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum education required of the position
3 years of experience may be credited for a B.S. degree in Engineering or other scientific discipline generally associated with power plant operations.
B.S. degree in Engineering or other scientific discipline generally associated with power plant operations.
Minimum experience required of the position
2 years previous supervisory experience.
Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position
Technical understanding of nuclear generation principles and operation.
Outstanding communication, conflict management, and change management skills.
Proficiency with current computer business applications.
Any certificates, licenses, etc. required for the position
Senior Reactor Operator License or certification (desired).
WORKING CONDITIONS:
As a provider of essential services, Entergy expects its employees to be available to work additional hours, to work in alternate locations, and/or to perform additional duties in connection with storms, outages, emergencies, or other situations as deemed
necessary by the company. Exempt employees may not be paid overtime associated with such duties.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
