JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
Oversee the performance of engineering functions on a group level associated with projects which promote safe and reliable
generation of electricity using nuclear power.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage engineering work assignme nts to ensure the group is responding appropriately to department and organizational needs.
Control engineering cost through maximization of staff productivity and tracking expenditures within budget parameters.
Monitor personnel and group effectiveness in achieving established goals. Function as a team leader as needed. Supervisepersonnel performance and resolve employee conflict or concerns.
Communicate with all levels of the organization including representing the department at all meetings. Propose process and designchanges that improve equipment and personnel efficiency.
Ensure all activities are performed within regulatory and procedural guidelines. Interface with other Entergy sites to implement bestpractices in a standardized approach. Interface with regulatory and industry representatives on behalf of station activities.
Communicate technical information, concepts, and ideas verbally and in writing.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Minimum education require d of the position
B.S. Degree in Engineering.
Minimum experience required of the position
5 years experience in nuclear power design, con struction, maintenance, operations, production, or equivalent.
3 years experience in the engineering department (desired).
Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position
Technical proficiency in the assigned area. Technical understanding of nuclear generation principles and operation. Good
communication, conflict management, and change management skills (desired).
Any certificates, licenses, etc. required for the position
Candidates must meet or exceed ANSI/ANS 3.1-1978 and ANSI Section 4.6.1. ANSI Section 4.6.1- Engineer in Charge Position: Atall sites except GGNS, this is the Engineering Supervisors or individuals serving in a supervisory capacity (according to the GGNS UFSAR this is the Engineering Director (UFSAR Table 13.1-2)). (a) Requirements: (1) Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Physical Sciences. (2) 3 years of professional level experience in nuclear services, nuclear power plant operation, or nuclear engineering and the overall nuclear background to determine when to call consultants and contractors for dealing with complex problems beyond the scope of the organizations expertise.
Professional engineering license (HIGHLY DESIRED).
WORKING CONDITIONS:
As a provider of essential services, Entergy expects its employees to be available to work additional hours, to work in alternate locations, and/or to perform additional duties in connection with storms, outages, emergencies, or other situations as deemed necessary by the company. Exempt employees may not be paid overtime associated with such duties.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
